The 2020 Tewanima Footrace and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Attention all participants:
As Navajo County (where the race is held) has become a regional hotspot for the spread of the Coronavirus, the Louis Tewanima Footrace Committee is examining all options for the 2020 Tewanima Footrace. We are doing this for the safety, health and well-being of the local community and the many runners who come from all over the nation, region, and locally, to run in this prestigious race.
We are looking at the possibility of a Virtual Race at this point. More information will be forthcoming.
